This module adds a new section to the Odoo Portal, “My Consigned Stock”, allowing owners of consigned goods (owner_id) to independently check the availability of their own products.

Isolation of information between owners is guaranteed for every quantity shown: on hand and free stock rely on the standard owner_id concept of stock.quant, while incoming and outgoing quantities are computed from the pending stock moves whose originating operation (stock.picking) or reservation is linked to the authenticated owner. Forecasted stock is derived exclusively from these owner-isolated figures. Products are only listed when they have identifiable stock or pending movements for the authenticated owner.

Configuration

For a third party to be able to check their consigned stock from the Portal:

  1. Create or identify the res.partner that will act as the owner of the goods.
  2. Register the corresponding stock in stock.quant by setting the owner_id field to that partner (via the standard reception-with-ownership processes, or via the “Update Quantity” wizard specifying the owner).
  3. Grant Portal access to a user linked to that partner (or to a child contact of the same commercial entity).

No additional configuration is required: the module does not introduce any system parameters or specific settings.

Usage

For the Portal end user:

  1. Access the Customer Portal (/my) with an authenticated user.
  2. If the user has stock associated as an owner (owner_id), the “My Consigned Stock” entry will be displayed.
  3. Upon entering, the list of products will be shown with the availability figures corresponding exclusively to their owner:
    • On hand stock
    • Free stock
    • Incoming
    • Outgoing
    • Forecasted stock
  4. It is possible to search by name or internal reference, sort the list and filter by warehouse when several applicable warehouses exist.

Selecting a warehouse never expands the accessible scope of information: it only allows narrowing the query within the set already authorized for the authenticated owner.
